so much to do so little time..

I cannot believe it has been so long since I last blogged... not that I think anyone is reading this..
I have been to a beautiful wedding of our good friends up at the vineyards (minus hubby as he had to work) and also met the gorgeous Isla who is first born of another set of friends.
So much can happen in such a short time and yet there never seems enough time to do everything you would like to do..
Work is just ridiculous and I love the feeling as I leave every afternoon as I know I have over 12 hours before I need to go back..
We are trying to sell our car at the moment and I am so excited as once it sells we can get the shed built and the ducted air conditioning installed...(long time coming for both).

I have had the time to be able to make a few cards, a birthday card and a farewell card for a work colleague.

I am totally in love with Spellbinders and want all of them..
I am looking forward to this weekend as I am expecting an order from Simon Says Stamp plus our Scrapbooking night is on Saturday and I have not been in two months.

Hopefully I will have some pics of what I get done and I will post them next time.

a little bit obsessed..

Can I just start off by saying that I cannot believe how many blogs I have looked at over the last couple of weeks... I am hooked (or obsessed more like it)..
I never thought reading someone else's daily thoughts or activities could be so interesting..
I am looking at mostly papercrafting blogs and I have to say that I had never heard of Copics before, but now am that excited to maybe try doing it myself (When I can afford to get some copics of course).
I am also getting so much inspiration for different things I want to do with my life and good advise about how to achieve this.
I am going to make things happen, I just have to work out how I am going to make sure I stick to it..

School Holidays

Well Ethans birthday present was a HUGE hit... He would not get more than 5 meters away from it all day..

It was a great day, we had the whole family at the Lawrence house (Gavs mum was kind enough to have it there so that there was room for Ethan to ride). My side of the family was there aswell so it was a full house.

I have to say, after everyone else had there turn, I had a quick few laps and I am completely SOLD.. I want one myself now.

Gavin had the biggest smile on his face the whole day, being able to teach Ethan how to ride the BIG wheel bike ( Ethan has only ridden small up until now) I have not seen him that happy in a long time.. 

I have had a pretty busy week this week, with having Ethan stay with us for the two weeks, plus me having a week off work.

I have loved having all my boys at home.. We can actually get out and have some fun with this fabulous weather we have had..

Hopefully I will be able to find some time to do some scrapping soon.. will post pics if i do..

KTM birthday....

Well today was Ethans 10th birthday...
For years we have always said for his 10th that we would get him a motorbike as he rides almost every weekend at his mums place (Ethan is my stepson.. although I do not like calling him that as I consider him one of my boys)..
So tomorrow is the day that we pick it up, we bought it two weeks ago and organised to get it this weekend as we will be picking Ethan up on Saturday and will have him for the full two weeks school holidays..
We were going for a Kawasaki but ended up getting the KTM..
I cannot wait to see the look on his face when he sees it.. I am going to try and get it on film so I will post some pics....
I in no way want to rush Corben in growing up (it is going way to fast as it is) but I, or should I say we, cannot wait until we get Corbens first bike and Ethan will be able to help Gav teach him...
My idea of the perfect day.. Gavin & I sitting outside in perfect Spring weather with a glass of wine watching our boys ride around our property.
Of course the property is also in the future plans as our current house yard is not quite big enough..lol
This week has been a GOOD week, Gav got good news about starting a new job, Ethan turns ten and we have got the bike of his dreams for him and Corben is well and back to his normal gorgeous & extremely cheeky self..

Baby Shower Card

Finally .. Today I found time to be able to sit down and not move till I had finished what I planned to do... I of course had to wait till Corben was in bed for his lunchtime snooze.
I did try to get started whilst he was up but that was really not a smart idea... I had to chase him down a few times to find stamps that he kept running away with..
I am going to put some pics up of the card and I have to say, seen as though it has been a while since I made a card I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
I have to admit, I stole the idea of the card standing up from Mary B. Giemza http://mycardz.wordpress.com/ I love her blog and her cards are absolutely stunning.
Well, another weekend has come and gone.. oh so fast.
I have a pretty busy weekend coming up as it is Ethans 10th birthday and we have to pick up his present and are having the party at the inlaws.. I also have to make a KTM birthday cake...
If that turns out alright I will put some pics up ..
Thats all I can think of right now so I might just end it here..

I decided to use yellows as the colour as my friend does not what she is having..

I tried the Stampin Up Crystal Effects for the first time as I wanted to the bear to stand out a bit more.. 

Ikea here I come...

I am a bit excited as I have just been told how much I am getting back in my tax return... So off to Ikea I will be going... I don't have the luxury of having a room that I can use as a scraproom so I am taking over part of our dining/lounge room and will be getting all the furniture and storage solutions I need so that I no longer work out of containers and bags..
I did ask the hubby if he wanted to come with me but the obvious answer would have to be .. No.. he knows what I am like when I have money and have my mind set on something..
I have to make a baby shower card tonight and hopefully will get it finished if I can keep myself from Facebook for long enough..lol
I will attempt to take some decent pics of the card once finished and will try to work out how to put it on here... please.. realise that my cards are no where near as spectacular as most of the blogs...

Where to start??

So.. Never done this before so total virgin and have no idea what I am doing or even why I am doing this...
Honestly, do not think anyone will ever see this but thought that seen as though I love looking at everyone elses blog that I should give it a go...
I hope to be able to share my day to day, boring as it may be and maybe just maybe some of you can relate and will want to comment...
I will leave my first official post at that and hope to be back soon..
